In Sylhet, people are in dire need of food due to floods caused by heavy rainfall. In this situation, the Department of Sociology, Bangladesh University has extended their helping hand to the flood victims. Relief was distributed in Fenchuganj upazila of Sylhet on 25th July’2022. Relief was distributed to 335 families in flood-affected areas of Fenchuganj upazila of Sylhet district. This activity was conducted under the leadership of a delegation from the Department of Sociology, Bangladesh University. Distributed dry food, oral saline, and baby food to 335 families in 6 unions of Fenchuganj upazila of Sylhet, besides distributed hygiene kits and pure drinking water to more than 300 families.
