The Department of English organized an Orientation program for the 59th batch enrolled in the fall semester 2022 at the permanent campus auditorium of BU on September 25, 2022, with the greatest enthusiasm of the fresher. The program was chaired by Sheikh Alauddin, Assistant Professor, & Head of the Department. Head of Economics Department and Dean of Arts, Social Science & Law Prof. Dr. Md. Tajul Islam graced the program as chief guest while Dewan Md. Al-Amin, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Law was the special guest. All faculty members of the department and faculties from other departments and a large number of students were present in the program. After the end of the formal part, a colorful cultural program was arranged by the ardent students of the department with different cultural events such as music, dance, recitation, etc. The program ended with a recitation of some lines from Tagore's Gitanjali by the Head of the department which was one of the motivational speeches for the students.
