Message from the Head

Welcome to the department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) at Bangladesh University. The department of EEE started its journey in March 2006. We have been able to establish ourselves as one of the leading EEE departments in the country within the last few years. Currently, we are situated at the Asad gate Building of the university and will soon head to the permanent campus at Adabor. The B.Sc. program is UGC approved and we are in progress for the IEB accreditation. 

The unprecedented mobility of knowledge, technology, information and capital have redefined the field of EEE as it has emerged as one of the most influential players in modernizing and improving the quality of lives of the people on the earth. In this context, we have taken up the challenge of producing quality graduates who can become leaders in the global arena. We invite bright young students with the ambition to become industry leaders to join our program.

The department excels with a unique blend of the rich collection of faculty members, enhancement of the syllabus to adapt to the dynamic nature of the prevalent technology, extra-curricular activities and most importantly the personal care at all the time. We are committed to placing our department as one of the top departments nationwide. I am certain that we have the potential to reach this goal sooner than later. I thank everyone for the valuable support in bringing us where we are now.
