Pains and Gains of the Ready-Made Garment Sector: Post 2013
Bangladesh University (BU) in collaboration with State University of San Francisco has conducted a research on the learnings and remediation measures adopted since the Rana Plaza tragedy. The researchers collected data on risks, costs, impacts and other relevant factors.
The study highlights the challenges, accomplishments and a few policy recommendations for the sector. It also showcases practical strategies for promoting common benefit of workers, entrepreneurs, investors, and other stakeholders.
