The Department of Economics of Bangladesh University has organized a program titled “Installation Ceremony: Economics Club, & Fresher’s Reception-2022” on 3rd August, 2022 at hall room of permanent campus of BU. Honorable VC (acting) of Bangladesh University Prof. Dr. Mezbah Kamal was the chief guest of this program. The special guests of this program were Kamrul Hasan Treasurer(acting), BU; Brig. Gen. (Retd.) Md. Mahabubul Haq, Registrar, BU and Prof. Md. Amirul Alam Khan, controller of examinations, BU. The program was chaired by Prof. Dr. Md. Tajul Islam, Head, Department of Economics, BU. Besides, all faculties and students of the department were present there.
The program was divided into two sessions. In the first session, the new committee of Economics club was declared which was followed by the freshers’ reception program. In the 2nd session, a colorful cultural program was organized by the students which included various events as like recitation, drama, debate, songs, dances etc.
