The Department of English organized a campaign Stand for Sylhet on 22.06.2022 and 08.07.2022 respectively. A large number of students, and faculty members headed by Sheikh Alauddin, HoD participated in the campaign to raise funds for the flood victims in Sylhet district. Food grains, medicine, dry food, cereals, mineral water etc. have been distributed among flood-affected people in Sylhet by a dedicated team of the department. The motto of this campaign was “We can bring changes with our little efforts”.
