Bangladesh University (BU) debaters’ team won the UCB Public Parliamentary TV debate competition against Shahjalal University of Science & Technology. BU team played the role of opposition party on the motion, Local govt. election based on political parties has strengthened democracy at grass root level.
BU team was led by Amrita Malangy. Other team members were Md. Tahsin Riaz, Abir Kalam Azad, Md. Sayem and Md. Azizul Hoque Romel. Ms. Subarna Selim, Lecturer, Dept. of English was the moderator of BU Debate Team. ATN Bangla telecast the program on September 23, 2016.
