As a part of the Academic Activity of the Department, Orientation program was organized on 11th September, 2022 for the newly enrolled students in Fall’2022 semester of the Department of Sociology, Bangladesh University from 11.00 Am to 3.30.PM in the Auditorium Hall Room, BU permanent campus presided over Dr. M. M. Enamul Aziz, Associate Professor & Head of the Department. Feroj All Mozahid (Senior Lecturer), Md.Rasel-Ud-Jaman (Senior Lecturer), TaslimaTanvin (Lecturer), Moshiha Begum Shuvra (Lecturer), Umme Rezowana (Lecturer) and Md Faisal Alam (Lecturer) were attended in the program. Moshiha Begum Shuvra conducted this program as a moderator. Feroj All Mozahid delivered welcome speeches among the freshers. The objective of the program was to welcome new students and introduce them to university facilities, faculty members, the academic system and the rules and regulations. The Orientation program was held in different sessions in which more than 110 students of 53rd batch, about 20 guardians of the students were present. All the respected faculties also imparted knowledge on day-to-day life, about writing skills, answering the questions via sharing their personal experiences of life in university.
