The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) at Bangladesh University (BU) stands as a cornerstone of our commitment to academic excellence and institutional integrity. Established to foster a culture of quality, IQAC implements systematic reviews of our study programs, ensuring that teaching-learning, research, and support services consistently meet and exceed national standards.
At BU, we are dedicated to continuous innovation in our curricula and learning environments. IQAC plays a pivotal role in centralizing these quality assurance activities, providing our stakeholders—including students, faculty, and administrative staff—with a transparent and accountable management system. By maintaining robust monitoring procedures, we safeguard the standards of our academic awards and enrich the overall research experience within the university.
Operating as a permanent and independent educational wing, IQAC is dedicated to the holistic improvement of Bangladesh University. About IQAC

The Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of Bangladesh University was established in 2016 with the primary objective of ensuring quality education, maintaining academic standards, and fostering a supportive learning environment. The establishment of IQAC reflects the university’s strong commitment to continuous improvement, accountability, and excellence in higher education.
IQAC operates as a central body responsible for developing, monitoring, and enhancing academic and administrative quality across all departments and units of the university.
