🏆 Another National Design Competition Achievement!
A Clean Sweep by the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University
We are immensely proud to announce yet another outstanding national achievement by the students of the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University.
As part of its journey toward establishing a new center of higher education, the University of Integrated Thoughts (UIT) organized a National Logo Design Competition in February 2026. The competition was initiated by the Bangladesh Institute of Islamic Thought (BIIT) in association with Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology (AUST), inviting creative minds from across the country to design the official identity of the new university.
After a rigorous evaluation by an eminent jury comprising Prof. Dr. M. A. Muktadir, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Fazli Ilahi, and Prof. Dr. Shehzad Zahir, the results brought extraordinary news for Bangladesh University—
All Three National Winning Entries are from the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University!
Even more significantly, the First Prize-winning design has been selected as the official logo of the University of Integrated Thoughts (UIT).

The prize-giving ceremony was held today at the BIIT Head Office in Uttara and was graced by the Honorable Vice-Chancellor, Pro-Vice-Chancellor, and distinguished officials of UIT.
Representing the participating institutions were Asst. Prof. Sheikh Itmam Soud, Head of the Department of Architecture, Bangladesh University, and Prof. Dr. G. M. A. Belayat, Head of the Department of Architecture, Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology. During the ceremony, both departments reaffirmed their commitment to supporting UIT in its future academic and institutional initiatives.
This remarkable accomplishment is another testament to the creativity, dedication, and design excellence of our students. It also reflects the department’s continued commitment to nurturing innovative thinking, visual communication, and professional design practice.
